Globally, Forum Syd works to strengthen marginalised people round the world who organise to claim their rights; and advocate for changes that contribute for a just and sustainable world.
Forum Syd’s Cambodia country program focuses on three overlapping thematic areas:
- Human Rights & Democratic processes
- The Environment / Climate Change (including sustainable management of natural resources)
- Gender Equality
Forum Syd Cambodia works closely with partner organisations (NGOs, CBOs, networks and other allies) to enable change at a grass-roots level.
Theory of Change
Our ‘Theory of Change’ utilises a rights based approach to engage rights holders and ‘duty bearers’ to actively participate in developing a sustainable society.
Rights Based Approach
Planning and Management
These efforts and interventions are carefully monitored for quality and effectiveness in Forum Syd’s process of Results-Based Project Management and Evaluation.
Our current programme provides funding and capacity development to 13 local Cambodian NGOs, Community Based Organizations (CBOs), several networks, and varied allies.
