Forum Syd is a Swedish non-profit, non-governmental member organisation which our Vision to promote a just and sustainable world where all people have the power to effect change.
Built up on our last three year programme successes and lessons learnt and fruitful partnership with CSO partner Organisations, and other stakeholders, Forum Syd is keen to continue our programme to achieve further results. The upcoming programme’s overall objective puts a special emphasis on “Increased access, control, and sustainable use of natural resources (forest, land and fish) and community climate change resilience for the disadvantaged and underserved”. (Please note that funding for this programme is subject to anticipated funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) via the Embassy of Sweden in Cambodia).
In all of its outreach efforts, Forum Syd’s fundamental purpose is to support initiatives and organizations that make a positive, lasting impact on increasing democracy, human rights and good governance, gender equity, social inclusion and empowerment of vulnerable groups, sustainable development and protection of the environment, and capacity building for NGOs.
This programme will focus on wide range of target areas/regions including: Tonle Sap, northeast and coastal areas which especial consideration to these provinces: Mondulkiri, Ratanakiri, Stung Treng, Kratie, Preah Vihear, Siem Reap, Oddar Meancheay, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Speu, and Koh Kong.
The deadline for submitting concept notes from interested applicants is on 23rd January 2017 at 5:30 pm. The concept note can be submitted to Forum Syd through the following email: email@example.com
